It's not worth it, trust me. I spent a lot of time to max out my level from a scratch. 40 hours of duping to get almost all of my rune stacks maxed. Now, with all the stacks on hand it will be faster but still takes hours to drop and use the runes. One gaming session takes 3-5 minutes without invaders. If some randoms invade us, the session fails.
So, how long? 50 complete sessions + time to use the runes + time to recover if something goes wrong. Very hard to do in one sitting.
It's not cheap option and definitively not worth it. Level means nothing in DLC, and the base game can be brute forced with level 450 mage. It's up to you
